Bareilly: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, has secured a significant position in the prestigious EduRank 2026 global university rankings, strengthening its academic and research profile at both national and international levels.According to the latest EduRank 2026 rankings, MJPRU stands at 91st position among 876 universities in India, 11th among 79 universities in Uttar Pradesh, and 1st among universities in Bareilly. Globally, the university is ranked 2,953rd out of 14,131 institutions, while in Asia it holds the 892nd spot out of 5,830 universities.The ranking evaluates institutions based on several key parameters, including research output, academic impact, non-academic reputation, and the contribution of notable alumni.
MJPRU’s performance was driven by the publication of 2,977 research papers that received 26,823 citations. The university has been recognised for notable performance across 102 research subjects, with a particularly strong presence in Toxicology at the global level.Expressing delight over the achievement, Prof. K.P.
